My fiancé tends to get unnecessarily complicated with a lot of things. While it can be frustrating, it also has its significant benefits – particularly, when it comes to cocktails. When I asked for a drink the other day, I expected a vodka club soda, maybe with a slice of lime. Instead I got this. This refreshing drink is made with fresh blueberries, lemon zest, and a perfect blend of spirits for a not-too-sweet summer treat.
The Zesty Blueberry
1.5 oz vodka
.75 oz limoncello
Muddled blueberries (your choice – we used a small handful)
Lemon zest (your choice)
Sparkling lemonade (fill glass)
Garnish with mint and lemon slice
